Sculptures, Free Lunch, Feildbarns and much more featured at FCBStudios during the LFA
Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios opened our doors on Saturday as part of the London Festival of Architecture. We collaborated to form 'The Fitzrovia Trail' • 200 visitors came through our doors to join us for a free lunch (a tradition within our practice) followed by home made cake and strawberries. Our senior partners Keith Bradley and Peter Clegg served the lunch to all who visited. • We had an exhibition running of our Feildbarn project in which we transformed one of meeting rooms into a little bit of Yorkshire with hay bales, wellies, Yorkshire tea and installations of our Feidlbarn eco-pods hanging from the ceiling. • In association with 8 practices in Fitzrovia we devised a Spaghetti structural challenge, Spaghetti House sponsored us with pasta of all varieties. Lead by sculptor Matt Sanderson we invited the general public in to build street furniture out of pasta which would enliven local Fitzrovia Park, Whitfield Gardens. All left over spaghetti was donated to the local soup kitchen. Lots of fun was had by all. |
