Jason joined FCBS in 1996 and was made a partner in 2007. Prior to this he spent four years in Edinburgh as an associate of the Alberti group with joseph Rykwert and Robert Tavenor co-ordinating the group for a major exhibition on the theory and Practice of Leon Battista Alberti, which was held in Mantua, Italy in 1995. He has held teaching positions in Edinburgh and Bath Universities and continues to run a public arts consultancy.

Jason is currently involved as the design lead across a number of diverse projects which currently includes student housing in the Kings Cross area and redevelopment proposals for the Central Buildings within the LSE campus. Previous projects include the award winning St Mary Magdalene Academy and the Brighton One Planet Living development for Bioregional, student housing at East Road, Paul street in London and at Aston University, Birmingham; Richmond Upon Thames College, Twickenham and feasibility work for four schools in croydon.

Most recently Jason has been responsibile for the design of part of a new settlement in Newhall and a major mixed use development within the Thames Gateway.
