We place our social responsibilities at the heart of the business and take our commitment to achieve Social Value very seriously.
We endeavour to operate ethically in everything we do, from minimising our carbon footprint to supporting charities and sourcing local products as well as supporting our own employees through every stage of their careers.
FCBStudios supports local and independent businesses when purchasing all food and office supplies, from green electricity to the food served at our communal lunches.
We are a part of our local communities, taking part in open studios, working with our neighbouring business and members of local campaigning groups and organisations.
In our London Studio, we host public interest talks and events throughout the year, offering a central London event space to support relevant causes and initiatives within the built environment.
Collaboration is part of our daily routine.
Over shared tea, coffee and daily vegetarian lunches, connections are made and our community is built.
Our Annual awaydays are curated around a theme or location relevant to the practice – In 2020 we went to Liverpool to talk about climate change and placemaking, in 2019 our discussions were around education and practice, hosted by Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Shared experiences, through the FCBS Bike Club, events and site visits also help to build our strong creative professional community.
