Introducing the Author Building

Related Argent has launched its first Build to Rent scheme – Author King’s Cross – located at 180 York Way in King’s Cross.
The scheme, which is due to complete later this summer, includes three buildings ranging between three and 16 storeys, centred on a landscaped courtyard garden. The three buildings are designed by FCBStudios, David Morley Architects and Haptic with interiors by Project Orange and Conran & Partners, to give each one a distinctive style. The landscaping is by Fabrik.
Alina White, Partner at FCBStudios said: “As the construction of the buildings completes, and the scaffolding comes down, our building is looking crisp and inviting. The views of the city from the apartments which were a key consideration in our design, are now balanced with the view to the entrance façade, as one might approach from Lewis Cubitt Park. We are looking forward to seeing residents move in and bring the spaces to life.“
The 182 new Build to Rent homes – a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, many with a private balcony, benefit from state-of-the-art residents’ amenities and landscaped communal spaces to support healthy living and creativity.
