BSc(Hons) MArch PG Cert PP

As an architect, Charlotte is passionate about creating enduring, functional and joyful places which pioneer environmentally sustainable design. As well as seeking to reduce embodied carbon in our designs, she is particularly interested in designing to Passivhaus standards as a method to reduce operational energy and was Project Architect for the new common room for Kellogg College, Oxford, which when completed in 2017 was both the University’s and the Practice’s first Passivhaus certified building. She has since worked on Stephen Taylor Court and was Project Architect on a new student village, both Passivhaus projects.

Charlotte currently works on projects across the higher education, hospitality and workplace sectors, where she is continuing to expand her knowledge of sustainable design within a heritage context.
