Architectural Assistant

Bath

BSc (hons)

Jacinta is an Architectural Assistant in our Bath studio. She is currently working to achieve her Master of Architecture (MArch) via the Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship route.

She has worked on a broad range of projects across the residential, mixed use, office, and higher education sectors and is passionate about the important role that the re-use and retrofit of existing buildings plays in preserving the memory and tangible urban fabric of a place. Her Master’s design thesis project: ‘Reclaiming Chatterley Whitfield’, focused on the adaptive re-use of the Chatterley Whitfield Colliery which emerged as a response to the fragmentation caused at both a social and environmental level by the loss of Stoke-on-Trent’s indigenous industries. Jacinta is also part of FCBS’ Employees Forum.
