MA(hons) Architecture, MArch

Katie is a recently qualified architect with extensive experience of working with communities, stakeholders, children, and students. She loves learning to design inclusive spaces for education, creativity, and connectivity. Many of projects she works on are in the arts & culture sector, and recently she has been involved in a series of residential and mixed-use projects in Hayle, Cornwall.

Katie has completed her Part 2 + 3 with Oxford Brookes via the apprenticeship route, where her research focussed on accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity. She developed, in collaboration with Disabled built environment professionals, a language of architecture which prioritises the Disabled experience. Katie weaves this thinking into her professional work, advocating for equity in the built environment.
